Carbon Emissions Certification and Accreditation International Report was held in Shenzhen

　　On March 29, 2011, the Carbon Emissions Certification and Accreditation International Report, which was organized by China Certification and Accreditation Association, was held in Bauhinia Hotel, Shenzhen. The key personals took part in this conference were: Vice Director Daning Wang from the CNCA, Vice President Xiaolan Li from China Certification and Accreditation Association, Deputy Chief Xiaoyu Guo from Market Supervision and Management Bureau of Shenzhen, Deputy Chief Yuehua Xie from the Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Shenzhen, as well as the speech experts from CESI, China Standardization Research Institute, China Quality Certification Center, national Engineering Laboratory of the Standardization of Electronic Information Products, the China Household Electric Appliance Research Institute, China Construction Research Institute.More than 100 representatives from the enterprises, associations and research institutes attended this conference. Experts from CESI, China Standardization Research Institute, China Quality Certification Center, national Engineering Laboratory of the Standardization of Electronic Information Products, British Standards Institute (BSI), Foxconn Technology Group, China Construction Research Institute, Haier Group, and Canada Infrared Thermal Imaging Technology Institute made speeches. Xiaohong Liao from Household Appliance Recycling Technology Center of CHEARI introduced the research of elevation methods of carbon emission in household appliance industry. The content of her speech included the low carton emission economy, the characteristics of Chinese household appliance industry, the research on evaluation of low-carbon-emission household appliances. The government departments, research institutes and enterprises are focusing on the field of low carbon economy, carbon emission certification and carbon emission evaluation, and conducting related researches andpractices, in order to reach the carbon emission goal, to form the low carbon economic developing model, and to achieve the energy saving and emission reducing strategy.
